SparkGPT vs Yuma AI (2026): Per Resolution Billing or Pay Per Sale?

The short answer: Yuma AI sells two separate products to ecommerce brands. Support AI automates tickets on top of your helpdesk and bills per fully resolved ticket, with a published Starter bundle of $14,400 a year. Sales AI is a shopping agent for your storefront, sold on its own subscription, with a Shopify App Store listing of $250 per month and final pricing based on store volume. SparkGPT is an AI sales agent for any website that costs $2.99 per month plus 5% of attributed sales, counted when an order follows a chat within 24 hours, with unlimited conversations. If you want tickets removed from your queue, compare Support AI. If you want website sales, compare Sales AI, and read the section on control groups before you decide.

We checked Yuma's pricing page, Sales AI page, comparison pages and both Shopify App Store listings on November 4, 2026. Everything we say about Yuma below is as of November 2026.

What Yuma AI does well

Yuma is a focused ecommerce product, and it has real strengths.

It only charges for full resolutions on support. Yuma defines a full resolution as a ticket it handled from start to finish with no human involved. Conversations and escalations are not charged, and any human touch removes the ticket from billing. That is a clean rule, and it protects you from paying for answers your team had to fix.

It works through your existing helpdesk. Yuma connects to Gorgias, Zendesk and Kustomer, among others, and it does not charge per seat or per channel. Its Shopify listing also names Re:Amaze, Loop and Recharge.

It tests revenue claims against a control group. Yuma's Sales AI page says every deployment runs as a split test against a control group without Sales AI by default. Most tools in this category report attributed revenue and stop there. This is the strongest idea on Yuma's site, and we cover it in detail below.

It publishes named results. Yuma reports a 105 day test at Cabaia with 23% more revenue per visit, and a desktop test at Parachute with 18% more revenue per visitor. These are vendor reported best cases, and the wider claim is worded as "up to" 18%, but the method is stronger than a bare return on investment multiple.

Its reviews are good, on a small sample. The Yuma support app shows 5.0 stars from 9 reviews on the Shopify App Store. Competitor eesel reports 4.8 stars from 19 reviews on G2.

Support AI and Sales AI are two different bills

Most Yuma comparisons discuss one price. Buyers should keep two lines in their budget.

Support AI answers tickets. It is the product behind the $14,400 figure and the resolution counts below.

Sales AI launched in September 2025 and works on the storefront. It answers questions about sizing, compatibility, availability, shipping estimates and ingredients. It also recommends products, generates coupon codes, shows reviews as social proof and sends cart recovery messages through a tool called Cart Saver. Yuma's pricing page says Sales AI is priced separately, on its own subscription. Its Sales AI page says pricing is "built around outcomes" and is covered on a demo call. It does not say what the outcome is.

The App Store listing for Sales AI gives the only public number: one plan at $250 per month, with the note that final pricing depends on store volume and business requirements. That listing shows no reviews yet.

Neither page says whether Sales AI requires Support AI, or whether it can place items in a cart from the chat. Ask both questions on the demo.

Yuma AI pricing in November 2026

Item Price Terms
Support AI Starter $14,400 per year, about $1.20 per resolution About 12,000 resolutions, paid upfront, 12 month commitment
Support AI Growth $40,000 per year, about $0.83 per resolution About 48,000 resolutions, same terms
Support AI Scale $90,000 per year, about $0.75 per resolution About 120,000 resolutions, same terms
Above 120,000 resolutions Falls toward $0.55 Custom bundle
Monthly overage $1.50 per extra resolution Monthly plans only
Shopify listing, support app $850 and $1,200 per month Includes a ticket package; overage fees apply
Sales AI $250 per month listed on Shopify Final price depends on volume and requirements

Yuma calls the annual figures illustrative and sizes the bundle on a demo call. It charges no implementation fee, and it says the first 30 days are free. The App Store listings show shorter trials, 14 days for the support app and 15 days for Sales AI, so confirm which one applies to you.

One term deserves attention. On annual plans there is no overage, but usage pauses when the bundle runs out and resumes at renewal. Peak season can burn through a bundle quickly, so ask what your options are if that happens in December.

Yuma's Gorgias comparison page also says a 100% ROI guarantee means you pay nothing if the savings do not outweigh the fee. It gives no method or time window, and we did not find it on the pricing page. Ask for the terms in writing.

The real difference: what triggers a charge

Yuma Support AI charges for a resolved ticket. You pay when a support job is finished without a person. The ticket can be a refund question or a tracking request, and no order needs to follow.

Yuma Sales AI charges a subscription. The public number is a monthly fee. The outcome behind the pricing is not published.

SparkGPT charges for attributed sales. When a visitor chats with the agent, the session is tagged. If that visitor orders within 24 hours, the order is attributed, listed in the ROI dashboard and charged at 5%. Chats with no order cost nothing beyond the $2.99 base, and conversations are unlimited. The full price sits on our pricing page with no demo call, and Growth runs on prepaid credits, where 1 credit equals $1. If the balance reaches zero, the agent pauses rather than charging you more.

Yuma's support model and our sales model are both outcome pricing, applied to different outcomes. For background, see our guide to performance based AI chatbot pricing.

Control groups vs attribution windows: where Yuma has the better method

A 24 hour attribution window answers one question: which orders followed a chat? A control group answers a harder one: how many orders happened because of the chat?

Some people who chat would have bought anyway. An attribution window counts those orders. A control group compares similar visitors with and without the tool, so it can show the true lift. On measurement alone, Yuma's default is stronger than SparkGPT's dashboard, and we would rather say so than hide it.

Two limits apply. Yuma's page does not state the size of the control group, and the "up to" figures are its best published results rather than an average. Parachute's result also came from desktop traffic. Ask for the median lift across customers and the sample size of each test.

SparkGPT's advantage sits elsewhere. Its bill follows a list of orders you can check one line at a time, and Yuma has not published how a lift figure affects what you owe. Either way, you can test for true lift yourself. Our guide on how to measure chatbot attributed revenue explains how to run a holdout.

Turn a lift figure into a breakeven number

Whichever tool you test, compare the lift with your gross margin. The extra sales you need equal the monthly cost divided by your gross margin.

Here is an invented example. A store sells $40,000 a month at a 40% gross margin, and the agent is credited with $8,000.

Tool Monthly cost Extra sales needed to break even Share of store sales
Sales AI at the listed $250 $250 $625 1.6%
SparkGPT, $8,000 attributed $402.99 $1,007.48 2.5%

At this size the listed Sales AI fee has the lower hurdle, if your final quote stays at $250. SparkGPT needs about 12.6% of its attributed sales to be truly new orders. In a slow month with $2,000 attributed, its cost falls to $102.99 and the hurdle drops to $257.48. A fixed fee stays at $625. SparkGPT protects the slow month, and a fixed fee rewards the strong month.

The math: when is SparkGPT cheaper?

SparkGPT is cheaper whenever monthly attributed sales are below (the other tool's monthly bill minus $2.99) divided by 0.05.

Yuma option Monthly bill SparkGPT is cheaper below this attributed sales level
Sales AI at the listed price $250 $4,940
Support app, Small Merchant $850 $16,940
Support AI Starter, or Medium Merchant $1,200 $23,940
Starter plus listed Sales AI $1,450 $28,940
Support AI Growth, averaged monthly $3,333 $66,607

The support rows only compare like with like if you would use Yuma for sales. If you are buying labor savings, weigh Yuma against your cost per ticket instead.

Cash timing matters too. Starter means $14,400 paid upfront. SparkGPT's base is $35.88 a year, and a store credited with $5,000 a month pays $3,035.88 across the year, month by month:

Attributed sales in a month SparkGPT bill
$0 $2.99
$5,000 $252.99
$20,000 $1,002.99
$50,000 $2,502.99

Which one should you pick?

Pick Yuma AI if you run an established brand with thousands of tickets a year, you already use a supported helpdesk, you can commit to a yearly bundle, and you want one vendor for support and storefront selling. If a default control group matters to you, that is a strong reason to book the demo.

Pick SparkGPT if your main goal is converting website visitors, you have no helpdesk or ticket queue, you do not want a yearly commitment, or you want a full price without a call. It installs with one line of code:

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Yuma AI cost in 2026?

As of November 2026, Yuma's pricing page lists Support AI bundles of $14,400, $40,000 and $90,000 a year, paid upfront on a 12 month commitment, at about $1.20, $0.83 and $0.75 per resolution. Its Shopify listing shows $850 and $1,200 per month. Yuma calls the annual figures illustrative.

How much does Yuma Sales AI cost?

Yuma's site says Sales AI pricing is covered on a demo call. The Shopify App Store lists one plan at $250 per month and says final pricing depends on store volume and business requirements. It is billed separately from Support AI.

Does Yuma AI do sales or only customer support?

Both. Sales AI answers product questions, recommends items, generates coupons and recovers abandoned carts on the storefront. Support remains the core business, and the Sales AI app shows no reviews on the Shopify App Store yet.

What happens when a Yuma annual bundle runs out?

Yuma's pricing page says annual plans have no overage fees and that usage pauses when the bundle runs out, then resumes at renewal. Monthly plans bill each extra full resolution at $1.50. Ask what top up options exist before peak season.

Is a control group better than an attribution window?

For proving true lift, yes. A control group compares visitors with and without the tool, while a window counts every order that follows a chat. A window is simpler to audit line by line, so it works well as a billing rule. You can use both.

What attribution window does SparkGPT use?

24 hours. When a visitor chats with the SparkGPT agent, the session is tagged, and an order placed within 24 hours is attributed to the agent, listed in the ROI dashboard and charged at 5%. Orders from visitors who never chatted are not charged.

Is SparkGPT cheaper than Yuma AI?

It depends on sales and on which Yuma product you compare. Against the listed $250 for Sales AI, SparkGPT is cheaper below $4,940 in monthly attributed sales. Against Support AI Starter at $1,200 a month, the line is $23,940. In a month with no attributed sales, SparkGPT costs $2.99.
