SparkGPT vs My AskAI (2026): Pay Per Ticket or Pay Per Sale?
The short answer: My AskAI is an AI customer service agent that plugs into helpdesks such as Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Gorgias and HubSpot, and its pitch is cutting support costs. As of October 2026, its Pro plan costs $199 per month for 1,000 credits, extra credits cost about $0.12, and My AskAI says it charges "per ticket the agent works on, resolved or not." SparkGPT is an AI sales agent for your website that costs $2.99 per month plus 5% of attributed sales, using a 24 hour attribution window, with unlimited conversations. If your goal is fewer support tickets inside an existing helpdesk, My AskAI is built for that. If your goal is more sales from website visitors, with a bill that only grows when the agent sells, SparkGPT is the closer fit.
We checked My AskAI's pricing page, its homepage, its pricing explainer (updated October 20, 2026), its cost ranking article (updated October 5, 2026) and its Shopify integration page on October 26, 2026. Everything we say about My AskAI below is as of October 2026.
What My AskAI does well
My AskAI has a clear focus, and it does several things better than most tools in this space.
It works inside the helpdesk you already have. The agent answers "within your existing live chat widget or ticketing platform." For a support team that lives in Zendesk or Intercom, that means no new inbox and no migration.
It is cheaper per ticket than many built in helpdesk AIs. Intercom charges $0.99 per Fin outcome and Gorgias charges about $0.90 to $1.00 per automated resolution. My AskAI's overage rates of about $0.10 to $0.12 per credit are far lower per unit, which is the whole point of its homepage headline.
The trial is generous. You get 30 days with every feature unlocked and no credit card.
It handles email as well as chat. Many website chatbots only answer in a widget. My AskAI also drafts replies to email tickets, which matters for stores where most questions arrive by email.
It can look up orders. Its Shopify integration page says the agent answers "WISMO, returns, product and account questions using real-time order data." Where is my order questions are a large share of ecommerce support, and answering them automatically saves real time.
My AskAI pricing in October 2026
| Plan | Monthly | Annual, per month | Included credits | Extra credits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | $199 | about $133 | 1,000 | about $0.12 each, up to 5,000 a month |
| Scale | $499 | about $333 | 2,000 | about $0.10 each |
| Enterprise | from $999 | not listed | none, usage from the first credit | $0.10 each |
Pro includes 5 team seats. Scale includes unlimited seats, up to 3 agents or brands and branding removal, which is a paid add on for Pro. Annual billing saves 33% on the base fee, and overage on annual plans is still billed monthly.
Some features cost extra per use. An AI reply that calls a tool, such as a Shopify order lookup, adds $0.02. Each step of an automated task costs $0.02. AI tagging is $0.05 per attribute per ticket, and live translation is $0.05 per conversation.
One small inconsistency is worth knowing: the Pro plan card lists extra tickets at about $0.12, while the FAQ on the same page says $0.10. Ask My AskAI which rate applies before you sign.
How a credit is counted
My AskAI's pricing explainer defines credits differently by channel:
| Channel | What uses one credit |
|---|---|
| Helpdesk chat | Every 2 AI replies |
| Helpdesk email | The first AI reply, then 0.5 for each follow up |
| My AskAI widget | All messages from one visitor within 1 hour, without a session refresh |
AI written internal notes are billed at the same rate as customer facing replies. Welcome messages and handover summaries are free.
So a shopper who asks six questions in a helpdesk chat uses 3 credits. On Pro overage that is about $0.36, plus $0.02 for each reply that looks up an order. The same six questions in the My AskAI widget within one hour use 1 credit.
The real difference: what triggers a charge
My AskAI charges for tickets it touches. Its own cost ranking article says: "We charge per ticket the agent works on, resolved or not." A ticket the AI hands to a human, or a chat where the shopper leaves unhappy, still uses a credit. This is a sensible model for support, where every ticket costs money to handle. It does not change with whether anyone bought anything.
This matters because some third party roundups describe My AskAI as charging per resolved ticket. LiveChatAI's My AskAI alternatives article, updated in June 2026, says pricing starts "around $0.10 per resolved ticket." My AskAI's own wording says otherwise, so plan your budget on tickets handled, not tickets solved.
SparkGPT charges for sales. When a visitor chats with the SparkGPT agent, the session is tagged. If that visitor places an order within 24 hours, the order is attributed to the agent, listed in the ROI dashboard and charged at 5%. Chats that end without an order cost nothing beyond the $2.99 base, however many questions they include.
What happens when usage grows
My AskAI bills overage at the end of each billing period. Its pricing explainer says there is no automated hard cap; you watch usage and can pause the agent with a toggle. On Pro, extra credits are listed up to 5,000 a month. A busy month is therefore a bigger bill, not a silent widget.
SparkGPT Growth runs on prepaid credits, where 1 credit equals $1. If the balance runs out, the agent pauses rather than charging you more. The difference is what drains the balance: sales on SparkGPT, tickets on My AskAI.
Sales tracking: report or bill?
We did not find revenue or sales attribution reporting on My AskAI's homepage, pricing page or pricing explainer. Its reporting is about deflection, resolution rates and time saved, which fits a support product. The pricing page also headlines "60% AI resolution. Or your money back." We did not find the conditions for that promise published on the page, so ask for them in writing.
SparkGPT's rule is published: an order within 24 hours of a chat counts, and that same number sets the 5% charge. You can match each attributed order to your store's order list. Our guide on how to measure chatbot attributed revenue shows how to check any vendor's numbers.
The math: when each one is cheaper
SparkGPT is cheaper than a My AskAI bill when your monthly attributed sales are below (My AskAI bill minus $2.99) divided by 0.05.
| My AskAI setup | Monthly bill | SparkGPT is cheaper below this attributed sales level |
|---|---|---|
| Pro, billed yearly | about $133 | $2,600 |
| Pro, month to month | $199 | $3,920 |
| Pro with 3,000 credits used | about $439 | $8,720 |
| Scale | $499 | $9,920 |
| Enterprise minimum | $999 | $19,920 |
And here is what SparkGPT costs at different sales levels:
| Attributed sales in a month | SparkGPT bill |
|---|---|
| $0 | $2.99 |
| $1,000 | $52.99 |
| $2,000 | $102.99 |
| $4,000 | $202.99 |
| $10,000 | $502.99 |
The honest reading: if your agent is credited with $4,000 or more a month and your volume fits inside 1,000 credits, My AskAI Pro at $199 costs less than SparkGPT at $202.99. A store with high sales from chat and light ticket volume can come out ahead on a flat plan. SparkGPT wins when sales from chat are uncertain, seasonal or still unproven. A month with no attributed sales costs $2.99, or $35.88 over a full year, compared with $2,388 for a year of Pro paid month to month.
The two tools also answer different questions. My AskAI asks how much support work the AI removed. SparkGPT asks how many sales the AI helped close. A store can use both: My AskAI on the helpdesk for order status and returns, and SparkGPT on product pages for shoppers still deciding.

Pick My AskAI if you already run Zendesk, Intercom, Freshdesk, Gorgias or HubSpot, most of your volume is order status, returns and account questions, you want email tickets drafted as well as chats, and you measure success in tickets deflected.
Pick SparkGPT if you want an agent on your website that answers product questions and helps shoppers choose, you do not have a helpdesk team, your sales from chat swing with campaigns and seasons, or you want a bill that follows sales instead of ticket volume. How much does My AskAI cost in 2026?
As of October 2026, My AskAI Pro costs $199 per month, or about $133 per month billed yearly, with 1,000 credits and 5 seats. Scale costs $499 per month with 2,000 credits, and Enterprise starts at $999 per month with usage billed from the first credit. Extra credits cost about $0.10 to $0.12 each, and tool calls, tasks, tagging and translation are charged separately.
Does My AskAI charge for tickets it does not resolve?
Yes. My AskAI's own cost article says it charges "per ticket the agent works on, resolved or not." Some third party roundups describe it as charging per resolved ticket, but the vendor's wording is per ticket handled. Budget on total tickets the AI touches.
What counts as one My AskAI credit?
It depends on the channel. In a helpdesk chat, every 2 AI replies use 1 credit. In email, the first AI reply uses 1 credit and each follow up uses 0.5. In the My AskAI widget, all messages from one visitor within an hour use 1 credit. AI internal notes are billed like customer replies, and welcome messages and handover summaries are free.
Is My AskAI a sales agent?
It is built for customer service. Its homepage talks about deflecting support requests and cutting helpdesk costs, and we found no revenue or sales attribution reporting. It can answer product and order questions, which can help sales, but it does not count or bill for them.
Is SparkGPT cheaper than My AskAI?
It depends on your sales. Against Pro at $199 a month, SparkGPT is cheaper while attributed sales stay below about $3,920 a month, and against Pro billed yearly the line is about $2,600. Above those levels My AskAI costs less if your volume fits its credits. In a month with no attributed sales, SparkGPT costs $2.99.
How does SparkGPT count a sale?
When a visitor chats with the SparkGPT agent, the session is tagged. An order placed within 24 hours of that chat is attributed to the agent, listed order by order in the ROI dashboard and charged at 5%. Orders outside that window, or from visitors who never chatted, are not charged.
