SparkGPT vs eesel AI (2026): Credits per Chat or Pay Per Sale?
The short answer: eesel AI is an AI teammate that works inside helpdesks such as Zendesk, Freshdesk and Gorgias, and it also offers a Shopify chat agent that recommends products and looks up orders. As of October 2026, eesel's pricing page starts at $299 per month for 500 credits, and each chat or ticket uses one credit whether or not it leads to a sale. SparkGPT is an AI sales agent for your website that costs $2.99 per month plus 5% of attributed sales, using a 24 hour attribution window, with unlimited conversations. If you need one AI across your support queue, Slack and email, eesel is built for that. If you want a storefront agent whose bill rises only when it sells, SparkGPT is the closer fit.
We checked eesel's pricing page, its pricing documentation, its Shopify and ecommerce pages, and its Shopify App Store listing on October 20, 2026. Everything we say about eesel below is as of October 2026.
What eesel does well
eesel is not a simple FAQ bot, and you should judge it on what it actually offers.
It works where your support team already works. eesel connects to helpdesks including Zendesk, Freshdesk and Gorgias, drafts or sends replies on tickets, and answers internal questions in Slack. If your problem is a growing ticket queue, this is its home ground.
It has a real Shopify agent. eesel's Shopify page says the agent reads your catalog, orders and FAQs, suggests products based on what the customer is browsing, and checks live order data. You install it with a single code snippet, and eesel lists an app on the Shopify App Store, launched in September 2025.
It covers more than Shopify. eesel's ecommerce page names Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Magento, and lists order tracking, return processing and escalation to staff.
Its credit rule is simple. On eesel's pricing page, a ticket or a customer chat is one credit no matter how many replies it takes. Spam and tickets the agent is told to ignore do not count. A long pre purchase conversation costs the same as a short one.
It has enterprise options. The Enterprise plan adds SSO and MFA, custom data residency, HIPAA with a signed BAA and annual contracts.
If you run a support team of several people across email, chat and a helpdesk, those are good reasons to shortlist eesel.
eesel pricing in October 2026
eesel's pricing page lists a Free trial with 100 credits and no card, a Teammate plan sold in monthly credit batches from 500 credits for $299 per month up to 5,000 credits for $1,749 per month, and custom Enterprise pricing. Paying a year upfront gives two months free.
When the monthly credits run out, your agents pause until credits reset at the start of the next billing month, unless you turn on overage. With overage on, extra credits cost $0.80 each up to a monthly cap you set. Unused credits do not roll over.
That works out to about $0.60 per chat on the 500 credit batch and $0.35 per chat on the 5,000 credit batch, before overage.
The price depends on where you look
eesel has changed its pricing model several times in 2026, and older numbers are still live in some places. Before you budget, check which version you are reading.
| Source and date | What it shows |
|---|---|
| eesel pricing page, checked October 20, 2026 | Credit batches from $299 for 500 credits to $1,749 for 5,000, overage $0.80 per credit |
| Shopify App Store listing, checked October 20, 2026 | $0 per month plus $0.40 per regular task and $4 per heavy task, or $1,000 per month plus $0.40 per ticket |
| Featurebase review, last updated September 2, 2026 | Team at $299 per month with up to 1,000 interactions, Business at $799 per month with up to 3,000 |
| My AskAI review, updated September 24, 2026 | Pay as you go at $0.40 per regular task, no monthly minimum |
| Macha review, updated October 14, 2026 | Credit batches replaced the earlier $0.40 per task rate |
The last three rows come from competitors of eesel, so treat them as dated observations, not current terms. The point is practical: a merchant who installs from the App Store and a merchant who signs up on eesel's website may read different prices on the same day. Ask eesel which terms apply to your account before you commit.
The real difference: what triggers a charge
Both products can answer product questions on your store. They charge for different events.
eesel charges for activity. Each chat session or ticket uses a credit. A shopper who asks three questions and leaves costs the same credit as a shopper who buys. Your bill tracks how busy your chat is.
SparkGPT charges for outcomes. When a visitor chats with the agent, the session is tagged. If that visitor buys within 24 hours, the order is attributed to the agent, listed in the ROI dashboard and charged at 5%. Conversations that do not lead to an order cost nothing beyond the $2.99 base. Your bill tracks what the agent sold.
There is a second gap. eesel's ecommerce page says the agent "converts browsers into buyers," but neither that page, its Shopify page nor its pricing documentation describes how sales from chat are counted or reported. SparkGPT's 24 hour window is published, and it is the same number that sets your bill. Our guide on how to measure chatbot attributed revenue explains how window length changes any reported sales figure, so you can test either vendor's numbers.
The math: when each one is cheaper
SparkGPT is cheaper than an eesel plan when your monthly attributed sales are below (eesel bill minus $2.99) divided by 0.05.
| eesel monthly bill | Example | SparkGPT is cheaper below this attributed sales level |
|---|---|---|
| $40 | 100 chats at the App Store rate of $0.40 per task | $740 |
| $299 | 500 credit batch | $5,920 |
| $379 | 500 credits plus 100 overage credits at $0.80 | $7,520 |
| $1,749 | 5,000 credit batch | $34,920 |
Here is what SparkGPT costs at different sales levels:
| Attributed sales in a month | SparkGPT bill |
|---|---|
| $0 | $2.99 |
| $1,000 | $52.99 |
| $5,000 | $252.99 |
| $10,000 | $502.99 |
| $20,000 | $1,002.99 |
Two honest conclusions follow. If your store sells $10,000 a month through chat on a 500 credit volume, eesel at $299 is cheaper than SparkGPT at $502.99. If your chat is busy but sales from it are uncertain, as in a new store, a slow season or a first test, SparkGPT costs far less, because a month with no attributed sales costs $2.99, or $35.88 for a full year. The more your chat volume grows faster than your sales, the more the per chat model costs you.
Growth runs on prepaid credits, where 1 credit equals $1. If the balance runs out, the agent pauses instead of billing you more. eesel's overage cap gives you similar control from the other direction.

Which one should you pick?
Pick eesel if your main problem is a support queue, you run a helpdesk such as Zendesk or Gorgias, you need order tracking and returns handled by AI, or you want one AI teammate across tickets, Slack and chat. Its per credit price is reasonable at volume, and its enterprise options go further than ours.
Pick SparkGPT if you want an agent focused on pre purchase conversations, your chat volume is unpredictable, you do not want to pay for chats that never turn into orders, or you want sales from chat counted on a short, published window that you can check against your orders. SparkGPT installs on any site with one line of code:
<script src="https://admin.sparkgpt.ai/widget.js" data-api-key="YOUR_WIDGET_KEY"></script>
You can also run both. eesel can keep handling tickets in your helpdesk while SparkGPT answers pre purchase questions on the storefront. Keep only one chat bubble live on the site so shoppers never see two. Before launch, ask the agent your ten hardest pre purchase questions using our pre launch testing checklist. Frequently Asked Questions
How much does eesel AI cost in 2026?
As of October 2026, eesel's pricing page lists a free trial with 100 credits, then monthly credit batches from $299 for 500 credits up to $1,749 for 5,000 credits, with custom Enterprise pricing above that. Extra credits cost $0.80 each if you turn on overage. The Shopify App Store listing still shows an older rate of $0.40 per regular task, so confirm which terms apply to your account.
What counts as a credit in eesel?
According to eesel's pricing page, a ticket the agent works on is one credit and a customer chat is one credit, regardless of how many replies it takes. Larger jobs such as a full blog post can use more credits. Spam and tickets the agent is told to ignore do not count.
Does eesel work with Shopify?
Yes. eesel offers a Shopify AI agent that reads your catalog, orders and FAQs, recommends products and checks live order data. It installs with a code snippet and has a listing on the Shopify App Store. Its ecommerce page also names WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Magento.
Does eesel track sales from chat?
eesel's ecommerce page says the agent converts browsers into buyers, but its pricing page, Shopify page and ecommerce page do not describe how sales from chat are counted. SparkGPT counts orders placed within 24 hours of a chat, shows them in the ROI dashboard and charges 5% only on those orders.
Is SparkGPT cheaper than eesel?
It depends on your sales. Against eesel's $299 plan, SparkGPT is cheaper whenever attributed sales stay below about $5,920 a month. Above that, eesel costs less. In a month with no attributed sales, SparkGPT costs $2.99 while the eesel plan still costs $299.
Can I use eesel and SparkGPT together?
Yes. A common split is eesel in the helpdesk for tickets and order questions, and SparkGPT on the storefront for pre purchase questions. Keep one chat widget live on the website at a time so shoppers are not confused.
